RIGHT- Top is amboyna burl with heartwood-sapwood interface,horn, ivory and purpleheart. The lower three are afzelia burl with a heartwood-sapwood interface, horn, ivory, and various accessory woods. Some of my most beautiful work. This burl wood is fantastic. The hard part in putting these on the rod will be to chose the "best" side to have in the viewing position. The grips are also lighter due to a new process. These are just "Off The Chart".
